Girl Scout cookies can be delicious, and we all have our favorites. Among mine are Thin Mints. And despite knowing they are for "a good cause", I just can't bring myself to shell out for the ever-rising cost of them. At least Thin Mints come with a decent amount of cookies, but some of the other flavors don't give you much bang for your buck. As a snacking fiend, I appreciate trying generic versions of my favorite snack foods to see if they stack up in flavor, as well as value. Some don't. In those cases, I will gladly shell out the extra money for the name brands. That being said, $2.12 for the Great Value Walmart brand Fudge Mint cookies is a tasty bargain. Minty, chocolatey, and priced for binging. Try this copy cat snack food for yourself.
Pairing suggestions:
Alcoholic beverage: Minty Chocolate Bliss
Non-alcoholic beverage: Minty Chocolate Delight
Might I also suggestion just good old fashioned frosty glass of milk? As my father likes to say "the pause that refreshes", even though that slogan was from Coca-Cola circa 1958. Sometimes the simplest things are the best.
