Lesser Evil Space Balls

Updated: Jan 15

Fun fact: I have nearly a decade of experience working for a company that distributes samples of products to its members in exchange for their feedback. In laymen terms, it's a market research company. As you might imagine, I have had the pleasure of being able to try many different snack foods, some healthy, some not. It's actually very cool because I love trying new products. I love telling friends and family about those products. And I am a sucker for advertising. I'm the perfect participant for my company's business model. I don't mind companies advertising to me. Commercials and billboards on trains and highways are a great way to tell me about something new. It's even better if I get to try it for free or with a coupon.

This is how I got to try out products from Lesser Evil. I'm sure you know them from the popcorn bag at the grocery store with the carton Buddha-like character on the front. Their popcorn is fine, but I was lucky enough to try some of their other offerings. They have branched out into other snacks that are healthier. As a snack enthusiast, I was a little skeptical at first as everything appeared to be vegan and I love me some dairy. But I will admit their snacks are delicious, and as a non-vegan, you aren't bothered by the dairy-free ingredients. When they offered Space Balls in Interstellar Cheddar, I was excited to give them a try. They are crunchy and salty. An excellent "cheese ball" substitute for those who want a lactose-free. I am eager to try some of the other flavors like Ranch Rocket Ship or Outer Planet Pizza. They're made with easily identifiable and pronounceable ingredients, so I'm happy to recommend it to my friends and family and even give it as a crunchy treat to my little one.

What I'm pairing it with:

Cocktail: Mango Bellini is a tart and tangy companion to the "cheesy" crunch

Mocktail: Mango Bellini mocktail
